Academic Programs

Through the integration of diverse disciplines in art, design, business, computers, and the liberal arts, the Associate of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Merchandising and Design reach beyond specialized professional skills to a broader spectrum of knowledge.

The Associate of Arts degree requires a minimum of 60 semester credit hours for degree completion. Students can specialize in one of the fields of fashion design, interior design, merchandise marketing and management, or visual communication.  Full-time students can graduate 16 months after entering the Associate of Arts degree program.

The Post-AA Bachelor of Arts degree requires completion of the Associate of Arts degree plus an additional 60 semester credit hours at the baccalaureate level for a total of 120 semester credit hours.  Students can specialize in either fashion design, interior design, merchandise marketing and management, or visual communication.

The Direct-Entry Bachelor of Arts degree requires a minimum of 120 semester credit hours for degree completion. Students can specialize in one of the fields of fashion design, interior design, merchandise marketing and management, or visual communication.  Full-time students can graduate 32 months after entering the Direct-Entry Bachelor of Arts degree program..

The curriculum promotes a well-rounded perspective of the world in general and the fields of merchandising and design in particular.
