The Steve Jobs Lab
"We're gambling on our vision, and we would rather do that than make 'me, too' products. Let some other companies do that. For us, it's always the next dream.” – Steve Jobs. On the eve of Wade College’s 50th anniversary, the administration of Wade College unveiled the brand new MAC lab containing 25 shiny, top-of-the line 21.5 inch, 2.5GHz computers. Cleverly nicknamed, The Steve Jobs Lab, Wade College students have eagerly taken this new facility by storm. “Our campus and students deliver an abundance of creativity daily whether working on product packaging or developing D&M Magazine, the college’s student produced publication. We are thrilled to offer them new resources that will enhance their experience on campus. Wade College is committed to providing the most comprehensive merchandising and design education available.” Those words were spoken by President Harry Davros just days after the untimely passing of Steve Jobs and the coinciding MAC lab reveal.
The MAC facility is available to students under all five concentrations.
Open lab hours are available throughout the week and training is provided by Wade College graphic design chairperson, Danny Rix.
