INSTRUCTOR RESERVES

Students may be required by instructors to read an article from a reserved book. These books are shelved in a special area and are not textbooks, but rather a library book or a book from the personal collection of the instructor. Students are required to sign for reserved books. The books are not allowed to leave the library. Articles may be copied at the student’s expense.

 

TEXTBOOK CHECKOUT
Current trimester textbooks are available for checkout on a temporary basis only.  The textbooks may be used during class, but must be returned immediately afterward to the library.  These special books are shelved separately from the general collection.  Ask the librarian when you need to borrow a textbook.

 

LIBRARY COMPUTER LAB

Students may conduct research and write papers in the library computer lab. This area of the library offers several computers with access to the college network, library catalog, online databases, and the Internet.

 

WIRELESS INTERNET ACCESS

For those who prefer their own laptop, wireless Internet access is available on campus. The access code is posted in the library.

 

READING AREAS & STUDY TABLES 

The library provides a comfortable seating area to study or read in addition to large tables to work/study or for group projects.

 

COPIES
Black & white copies may be made for a fee of $0.25 per copy.
