Teaching Experience:
Professor Metzger has three years teaching experience teaching Studio I, Studio III, Studio IV, Studio V, Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, Google Sketchup, Residential/Commercial Space Planning, Survey of Interior Design and an additional one year teaching experience at another SACSCOC-accredited, Level II institution, teaching Revit Architecture/3D Modeling.

Professional Experience:
Professor Metzger has six years of experience as practicing and licensed Interior Designer including as Project Manager – Interprise Design, Principal – Lee Design Group and asShowroom Manager – Turtle Creek Antiques and Consignment.

kurt ortley

Kurt Ortley – Professor and CIDA Liaison

Teaching Experience:
Professor Ortley has eight years of teaching experience in Interior Design at Wade College and University of Texas at Arlington, a SACSCOC-accredited, and Level II institution. Courses taught include Interior Design Studios II, III and IV, Topics in Interior Design, Design Drawing and Drafting, Lighting for Interior Design and Interior Materials and Systems.

Professional Experience:
Professor Ortley has ten years of professional experience in Interior Design including as Proprietor, DesignKOR, interior design and architecture firm, as a Project Design Coordinator for The Yates Group and Intern at Good Fulton and Farrell.
