The Planning Process

The Department of Financial Aid at Wade College will assist you with your financial planning for the entire program. The Office of the Director of Financial Aid will walk you step-by-step through the financial planning process.

Upon completion of your financial aid application and forms, the Office of the Director of Financial Aid will review your information and determine your financial aid eligibility based on federally required calculations. The Office of the Director of Financial Aid will then put together a Student Financial Plan explaining the breakdown of your estimated educational expenses and financial eligibility throughout your educational program.

  • Your educational expenses will consist of direct and indirect costs. Direct costs include tuition, books, supplies, course fees, other fees, registration fee, college-sponsored housing (if applicable), and college-sponsored housing fee (if applicable). The indirect fees include food, transportation, personal expenses, room and board.
  • Your total financial resources available to you, which may include federal and state aid, grants, loans, veteran's benefits, scholarships, will be added together.
  • Your total financial resources are then subtracted from your total estimated direct cost of your education.
  • This information will be included in your Student Financial Plan and covered with you by the Office of the Director of Financial Aid.
