Interior Design
The mission of the interior design concentration is to educate each student on the importance of design from an aesthetic and functional approach while still considering factors that affect the health, safety, and welfare of the end user(s). This is achieved by learning basic skills in space planning, architectural drafting, computer aided drafting, color theory, interior materials, and visual and verbal presentation skills. The knowledge gained in these disciplines will allow each graduate to pursue further education and/or acquire an entry-level design position in one of many interior design occupations. |
