In spring 2012, Wade College began issuing either the Lenovo ThinkPad or Apple iPad to its students. These electronic tablets replace the need for printed textbooks and assist students in productivity and efficiency by centralizing all information in this small handheld tool. The tablets are just another step Wade College is taking to ensure students are prepared to handle today’s technological demands.
First trimester student, Venny Etienne, already has positive things to say about the tablets: "The functionality of the (tablet) allows so much convenience and ease to my education here at Wade College. I'm able to operate it for so many things like: note taking, reading textbooks, studying for an exam and also keeping track of emails all in one device. And it's also a pretty cool device to brag about to my friends!"
